H&M Swimwear 2010 Ad Campaign

H&M’s swimwear 2010 ad campaign features supermodels Daria Werbowy, Julia Stegner, Erin Wasson, Sasha Pivovarova and Lara Stone (they all look fabulous here). The new swimwear collection will be launching this month, shot by photographer Patrick Demarchelier at St. Barts in the Caribbean. The swimwear collection mixes safari with ethnic detailing and prints. I totally dig the mismatch trend thats carrying over from last season.
In video’s that launched with the ad campaign, all five models talked about their best beach memories (smart marketing move by H&M). Check out the videos on hm.com.
Layer on the rings

Layering rings is a huge look right now. Models such as Abbey Lee Kershaw (pictured here) can flawlessly pull this look off (probably because they work with high ticket stylists). Right we’re hearing that stylists are inspired by the hippy, 70s movement; incorporating mood rings and cabochons wherever they can.
Styling tip for the average ladies: Rather than punky skulls and knuckeldusters or the overly blingy sparkly cocktail rings, try stones like turquoise, amber, aquamarine, garnet, lapis lazuli and onyx. Local designer Christopher Collins will debut his Spring 2010 collection tomorrow night (4/1) at his Sutter Street boutique. The collection ranges from feminine silhouettes with subtle retro touches to thoroughly modern pieces ready for everyday wear, and is definitely worth checking out in person.

The Christopher Collins Spring Forward Fashion Party, 5-9 p.m. on April 1 at Christopher Collins Boutique, 1116 Sutter St., San Francisco.
