I recently read about The Tenderloin Project in Thrillist San Francisco. Having lived in the TL (aka Tenderloin District, San Francisco) in 2006-2007, this project is important to me. Utilizing the interactive mediums of photography and film, The Tenderloin Project aims to capture a compelling and honest portrait of this diverse community.

The TTP will be showcase in a variety of outlets including a collection of black and white portraits, HD videos, and a soon to be released coffee table book. A line of clothing is also in the works.

If you’re in the mood to purchase¬†any of the pieces, proceeds from the sales will be donated to organizations that promote and give access to art in the Tenderloin.
