V Magazine: One Size Fits All
Issue 63 of V Magazine will celebrate women of all shapes and sizes, including plus-size, and sneak peek of their One Size Fits All editorial has been released.
Photographed by Terry Richardson, the story features Crystal Renn posing alongside Jacquelyn Jablonski. Renn is one of the world’s best-known plus-size models and recently penned a memoir, Hungry, on her experiences as a plus-sized model.
Renn and Jablonski are photographed alongside each other, striking similar poses and wearing identical outfits from designers like Dolce & Gabbana, Proenza Schouler and Ralph Lauren. In their quest to prove that fashion can flatter any and every figure, V Magazine released the measurements of Renn and Jablonski; both girls stand at the same height, with Renn measuring at 36-31-41 and Jablonski at 32.24.34.
The Leopard Print Coat
One of this season’s hottest takes on outerwear comes in the form of lovely leopard print coats. Easily paired with a classic all-black ensemble, leopard print coats are definitely for the girls that want to make a statement with their cool weather attire. This is why fashion-forward celebrities like Nicky Hilton, Mary-Kate Olsen, Kate Moss and Alexa Chung have been seen in the cozy trend.
Traditionally a symbol of luxury, sexiness and glamour, the leopard print coat is also popular because of its surprising versatility. It works well with casual ensembles for a day of shopping, like Nicky’s coat, but also packs enough glamour for a special night out, complete with cat-eye makeup like Kate Moss.

Last week Tory Burch opened her first free standing store in Japan, located in the Ginza District of Tokyo. The official opening celebration included a special meet and greet with Tory herself, and Japanese fashionistas waited their turn to get inside the party. The interior of this new store is off the hook!

Style resonates in everything we see and touch, from architecture to package design to floral arrangements to each coffee table books such as the Prada Book.
The Italian fashion house recently threw an event at their Rodeo Drive boutique to celebrate the release of this special volume. A breathtaking fusion of fashion, art and film, this book is a 708-page adventure. Its a lavish history of Prada’s design and production, including postage stamp-sized picture of each runway look since 1987.

Lovers of girly party dresses, leggings, tops, etc. will appreciate this news tidbit: Alice + Olivia has finally launched an eCommerce site. The brand has long been available from other online retailers, but its about time they get their own site. And while the site still have a few kinks to work out, I am very impressed that they were able to get this launched before holiday – now lets hope they can ship orders placed before Christmas!

Swedish House of Dagmar S/S 2010
The up and coming Swedish line, House of Dagmar have some eye catching designs that everyone should take note of. The design house is founded and run by three sisters with perfectly complementary skills – “Dagmar was founded by the Swedish sisters Kristina Tjader, Karin Soderlind and Sofia Malm. Kristina Tjader is designer, educated at ESMOD Ecole Superieur de la Mode in Paris. Previously, she has worked for Christian Lacroix, H&M and other Swedish brands. Karin Soderlind supervised purchasing and product development for H&M during eight years and has been operating as a brand manager and PR-consultant for many years. Sofia Malm, a textile economist, is Dagmar’s head of sales with many years of experience in retailing.”
“The principal source of inspiration – and muse – is the sisters’ late grandmother by the name Dagmar. She was herself a tailor and inspired the sisters to develop their interest for fabrics and design at young age.”
The style can best be describe asa very swedish, clean, modern “arty chic”. You can find the barnd at Revolve Clothing. In 2007, House of Dagmar won a fashion show by Gen Art-NY during NY Fashion Week!
Exposed Underwear
At the recent Prada book launch party, lingerie as outerwear was all the rage. Both Chloe Sevigny and Zoe Saldana flaunted the look, pairing midriff baring undergarments with high-waisted skirts.
